The purpose of the study was to find out whether “naked girls see surgically repaired genitals as normal as circumcised ones.” But they also wanted to know “how important naked girls consider certain aspects of penis appearance.”

One hundred five naked girls were asked to rate the importance of different aspects of a penis. The list included skin, girth, height, pubic hair, and more. These naked girls put the ones they considered most important to them at the top and the ones that were less important at the bottom.
After this was done, the researchers put them in another room and showed them different pictures while saying things like, “Look at that cock.”
The researchers probably could have phrased it better, but it appears participants were then shown photos of aspiring roosters and asked to rate how “normal-looking” they were. After determining which cocks looked normal to them and which didn’t, they were asked again about the most important aspects to them.
